The CUL-Masten carbon boom and spinnaker pole for the sporty dinghy Corsair.
In the production of the boom, attention was paid to the lowest possible weight without neglecting the rigidity of the boom. By laying the fibers for high bending stiffness, the beam remains straight even with high loads on the downhaul.
The functional elements, such as the spinnaker pole retrieval system and the outhaul, have been implemented in an extremely lightweight and design-loving manner.
The boom is made with a design carbon layer and painted with multi-layer UV varnish.
